  1. Wisconsin

    Fort McCoy proposed to develop a program Programmatic Agreement (PA) in accordance with 36 CFR § 800.14(b)(2) for Section 106 compliance for operation, maintenance, repair, and development activities at U.S. Army Garrison Fort McCoy. As a Total Force Training Center, Fort McCoy's primary responsibility is to support the training and readiness of military personnel and units of all branches and components of America's Armed Forces. Fort McCoy is home to a number of Army, Department of Defense, and State of Wisconsin activities, including over 30 tenant organizations.

  2. Louisiana

    The United States Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), New Orleans District, is initiating the process to develop a Programmatic Agreement (PA) for the “Section 408 Permissions” within its Civil Works boundaries for the State of Louisana, pursuant to 36 CFR § 800.14(b)(2). The proposed PA would establish procedures to satisfy the Corps' Section 106 responsibilities with regard to the review of small-scale federal permissions of local agency and third-party applications known as Section 408 permissions. Section 14 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899, as amended, codified at 33 U.S.C.

  3. Hawaii
    The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), in cooperation with the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation, Highways Division (HDOT), began to evaluate undertakings involving the use and/or occupancy of the former Oahu Railway and Land Company (OR&L) right-of-way (ROW).
  4. Maryland

    The Federal Highway Administration and Maryland Transportation Authority are conducting the Chesapeake Bay Crossing Study to assess the potential environmental impacts of addressing congestion at the Gov. William Preston Lane Jr. Memorial Bridge, more commonly known as the Chesapeake Bay Bridge or Bay Bridge, which could result in added capacity at the existing bridge or at a new crossing location across the Chesapeake Bay.

  5. Kentucky

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District, proposed to develop a new agreement to replace the existing Section 106 Memorandum of Agreement (executed in 1992) for the remaining portions of the Kentucky Lock Addition Project. The Kentucky Lock is located in western Kentucky at Mile 22.4 of the Tennessee River. A feasibility report completed in 1992 recommended a new 110-foot by 1,200-foot lock adjacent and landward of the existing 110-foot by 600-foot lock. The project was authorized for construction in 1996 and construction commenced in July 1998.

  6. Colorado

    The United States Forest Service, Region 2 has proposed to develop a single statewide Programmatic Agreement to govern Section 106 consultation on National Forests and Grasslands in the State of Colorado in accordance with 36 CFR § 800.14(b)(2). The intent is to seek consistency by consolidating useful components of existing agreements and address needs not already included in such agreements. 

  7. Virginia

    The 633rd Air Base Wing proposes to develop a Programmatic Agreement for Section 106 compliance, in accordance with 36 CFR § 800.14(b)(2), in order to understand effects to historic properties within Langley Air Force Base.

  8. Oklahoma

    U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Sill is proposing to develop a Programmatic Agreement to codify in an agreement document certain steps of Fort Sill's current process, thereby reducing the requirement for repetitious requests to the State Historic Preservation Office in initiating the process in accordance with 36 CFR § 800.14(b)(2).

  9. Northern Mariana Islands
    The United States Marine Corps proposes construction in support of expanded military training activities within the federally managed Military Lease Area (MLA) on the island of Tinian in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
  10. Ohio

    Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) has determined that implementation of the multiple Air Force missions at WPAFB is resulting in numerous undertakings that may affect properties included in, eligible or potentially eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. WPAFB is proposing a a Programmatic Agreement in accordance with 36 CFR § 800.14(b)(2) . This agreement is seen as a tool to help properly identify, protect, and preserve the resources on the base.
