  1. Illinois
    In September of 2022, the ACHP was contacted by the Promontory Point Conservancy, Landmarks, Illinois, Preservation Chicago, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation regarding the implementation of the 1993 Memorandum of Agreement for Promontory Point in Chicago, Illinois. The concerns seem to relate to communication under the MOA and regarding the undertaking as well as the unfinished construction associated with the repair of the step-stone and limestone revetment.
  2. Hawaii
    In 1987, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the Hawaii State Historic Preservation Officer, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation executed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Interstate H-3 Project. The project has been constructed but FHWA and Hawaii Department of Transportation have not yet completed all commitments in the MOA, with 4 items from the MOA pending completion or submittal of reports to consulting parties about their completion.
  3. New Mexico
    In 2011, the “Programmatic Agreement Among the Bureau of Reclamation, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, the New Mexico State Historic Preservation Officer, the Navajo Nation, the Bureau of Land Management, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs Regarding the Consideration and Management of Effects on Historic Properties Arising from Construction of the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project, New Mexico” was executed. In accordance with Stipulation XVI, the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is proposing an amendment to the agreement to extend its duration.
  4. Massachusetts
    In 2024, the "Memorandum of Agreement Ampong the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, the Mashantucket (Western) Pequot Tribal Nation, the Massachusetts State Historic Preservation Officer, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding the New England Wind Offshore Wind Energy Project (Lease Number OCS-A 0534)" was executed. In accordance with Stipulation XVIII, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is proposing an amendment to capture the recent lease segregation as well as several changes resulting from consultation with the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. 
  5. District of Columbia
    In 2023, the "Programmatic Agreement Among the Department of the Navy, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, the District of Columbia State Historic Preservation Office, the Department of the Interior (National Park Service), and the National Capital Planning Commission, Regarding Washington Navy Yard Land Exchange, E and O Parcels, District of Columbia" (2023 PA) was executed.
  6. Hawaii

    In 2019, the Memorandum of Agreement Among the Federal Highway Administration the Hawaii State Historic Preservation Officer and the Advisory Council on Hstoric Preservation Regarding the Leeward Bikeway Philippine Sea Road to Waipahu Depot Street Federal Aid Project No. STP-BW-0300(8) District of Ewa, Oahu, Hawaii was executed and amended in 2020. In accordance with Stipulation XI, the signatories are considering an amendment that extends the duration of the agreement for an additional two years to allow additional time to complete outstanding commitments.

  7. California

    In 2011, the Programmatic Agreement Among the Federal Railroad Administration, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, the California State Historic Preservation Officer, and the California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA/Authority) Regarding Compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, as it Pertains to the California High-Speed Train Project was executed. In accordance with Stipulation XVII(B), the Fedeal Railroad Administration and the CHSRA have proposed a second amendment to extend the duration of the agreement.

  8. Louisiana

    In 2000, the Memorandum of Agreement Inner Harbor Navigation Canal (IHNC) Lock Replacement Project was executed among the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District (Corps), the Port of New Orleans, the Louisiana State Historic Preservation Officer, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation was executed.

  9. Colorado
    In 2022, the "Programmatic Agreement Among the 10th Air Base Wing, the Colorado State Historic Preservation Officer, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding Compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act at the United States Air Force Academy, El Paso County, Colorado" was executed. In accordance with Stipulation IX, the 10th Air Base Wing is proposing an amendment to incorporate additional clarifying language regarding excluded activities.
  10. Indiana
    In 2022, the "Programmatic Agreement Among the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District; the Indiana State Historic Preservation Officer; the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation; the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma; the Shawnee Tribe; the Osage Nation; The Delaware Nation; the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, and Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians Regarding Routine Operations and Maintenance Undertakings that have the Potential to Affect Historic Properties at Flood Control Projects" was executed. In accordance with Stipulation XVI, the U.S.
