ACHP Accepting Spring Intern Applications

The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's Office of Federal Agency Programs is seeking a spring semester, 20 hour/week virtual intern to support the agency’s training program on Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.

Internship projects will be aligned with the ACHP's current emphasis on historic preservation workforce development and strengthening connections with graduate and university programs.

The application deadline is November 18, 2022.

Fellowship Applications Being Accepted

The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and the ACHP Foundation have announced a new partnership, the 21st Century Leaders Fellowship. Applications are being accepted now for this new program, which provides early career preservation professionals with a comprehensive understanding of historic preservation policy formulation and implementation at the national level.

Office of Policy and Legislative Affairs

The Office of Policy and Legislative Affairs (OPLA) develops preservation policy recommendations, analyzes legislation proposed at the federal/state/local levels and Executive Branch policy initiatives, and participates in ACHP programs and research related to major national preservation issues.
