California High-Speed Train Project: Amendment #2 (CA)

In 2011, the Programmatic Agreement Among the Federal Railroad Administration, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, the California State Historic Preservation Officer, and the California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA/Authority) Regarding Compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, as it Pertains to the California High-Speed Train Project was executed. In accordance with Stipulation XVII(B), the Fedeal Railroad Administration and the CHSRA have proposed a second amendment to extend the duration of the agreement.

In 2012, the Programmatic Agreement Among the United States Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management, the Arizona State Historic Preservation Officer, the California State Historic Preservation Officer, the Colorado State Historic Preservation Officer, the New Mexico State Historic Preservation Officer, the Nevada State Historic Preservation Officer, the Utah State Historic Preservation Officer, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding Solar Energy Development on Lands Administered by the Bureau of Land Management was executed.

In 2018, the Programmatic Agreement Among U.S. Department of Energy-Western Power Administration, U.S. Department of Interior-Bureau of Reclamation, California State Historic Preservation Officer, and Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding Construction of the San Luis Transmission Project, in Alameda, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Merced Counties, California was executed regarding the construction, ownership, operation, and maintenance of a new transmission line.

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is proposing to provide funding and authorization to Sites Authority for the proposed construction and operation of an offstream surface water reservoir to provide direct and real benefits to instream flows, the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta ecosystem, and water supply reliability. Reclamation is providing funding through the 2021 Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act funds.
