In 2019, the Programmatic Agreement Among the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, The State Historic Preservation Officer of California, The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding Review of Outer Continental Shelf Renewable Energy Activities Offshore California Under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act was executed. In accordance with Stipulation VII.C., the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) proposes to amend the agreement to extend the agreement's duration and the bring it up to consistency with other more recent BOEM agreements.
