In 2016, the Programmatic Agreement Among the Rocky Mountain Region (Region 8) of the U.S. General Services Administration; the State Historic Preservation Officers of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Utah; and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding Management of Historic Properties and their Consideration in Planning Activities was executed. In accordance with Stipulation XIII, signatories are considering an amendment to the agreement.

Programmatic Agreement for Section 106 Compliance at National Forests and Grasslands in the State of Colorado (CO)
The United States Forest Service, Region 2 has proposed to develop a single statewide Programmatic Agreement to govern Section 106 consultation on National Forests and Grasslands in the State of Colorado in accordance with 36 CFR § 800.14(b)(2). The intent is to seek consistency by consolidating useful components of existing agreements and address needs not already included in such agreements.
