The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation will host its next business meeting on Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 1:30 p.m.– 4 p.m. EDT. Due to continuing COVID-related precautions, the meeting will take place using Zoom conferencing. There will be no in-person attendance and, due to technical limitations, only ACHP and ACHP members and staff will be able to watch live. However, a recording of the meeting will be posted on the ACHP website and the ACHP YouTube Channel when the proceedings conclude.

The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation is now recruiting for two positions within the ACHP’s Office of Federal Agency Programs (OFAP), located in Washington, DC. The OFAP plays a key role in meeting the ACHP’s mission to advise the President and Congress on historic preservation matters, and oversees the Section 106 review process.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Joe Biden has designated Jordan Tannenbaum as the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) vice chairman. The President also appointed Tannenbaum to a second term, ending in June 2025. Tannenbaum, of Fairfax, VA, was appointed as a general public ACHP member by President Barack Obama in 2016.
