The ACHP is recruiting for the position of a Program Analyst within the ACHP’s Office of Federal Agency Programs (OFAP), located in Washington, DC. OFAP plays a key role in meeting the ACHP’s mission to advise the President and Congress on historic preservation matters, and oversees the Section 106 review process.

ACHP Hiring Assistant Historic Preservation Technician

The ACHP is recruiting an Assistant Historic Preservation Technician (GG-10/11) to coordinate documentation and correspondence to support the ACHP's work in the historic preservation review process required by Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.

The position serves as the agency's primary adult education specialist; develops curriculum, class instruction, and guidance materials for general training and outreach concerning Section 106 and the National Historic Preservation Act; and plays a key role in sharing the ACHP's technical expertise on federal historic preservation requirements.
