The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation invites college students to join us for a four-part webinar series this spring semester, featuring interactive conversations with leaders in the field of historic preservation, as well as inspirational individuals who are engaged in preserving, restoring, interpreting, and discussing the history and heritage of African Americans in the United States through the power of historic sites.

On Jan. 19, 2022, Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) Vice Chairman Jordan Tannenbaum signed an agreement with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers (NCSHPO) to extend the duration of the BLM’s national Programmatic Agreement (nPA) by an additional two years to February 2024. The nPA forms the basis of the BLM’s implementation of its cultural resource management actions under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.

The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and the National Trust for Historic Preservation are seeking nominations for the 2022 National Trust/ACHP Award for Federal Partnerships in Historic Preservation. A category of the National Preservation Awards, this joint award honors outstanding federal partnerships that advance the preservation of important historic resources.
