The ACHP will have a meeting on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 9 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. ET.

The meeting will convene in the National Building Museum, 1st Floor Auditorium, 401 F Street NW, Washington, DC. ACHP meetings are open to the public. The meeting will be livestreamed on Facebook, and the recording will be made available following the proceedings on the ACHP's YouTube Channel

Interns make significant contributions to the ACHP’s work while gaining valuable experience and insight into the national preservation program.

On the corner of West 157th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, sits a six-story masonry structure constructed in 1915 and built in the Late Gothic Revival style. This structure was home to none other than acclaimed composer and jazz musician Duke Ellington.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) announced today that Jordan Tannenbaum will serve as acting chair. Tannenbaum has been a member of the council since 2016, serving most recently as vice chair.

Tannenbaum assumes the role following the resignation of Sara C. Bronin, who served as chair until December 31, 2024. He will fulfill the chair’s duties until a new chairman is confirmed by the Senate and sworn in.
