The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Nationwide Programmatic Agreement (NPA) provides for the management of NASA assets, including routine maintenance, alteration, modification, and demolition, with a particular focus on Highly Technical and Scientific Facilities (HTSF). The NPA also provides a framework for identifying and managing NASA resources that are less than 50 years old. The NPA tailors the Section 106 review across NASA centers and component facilities nationwide and include programmatic mitigation for anticipated adverse effects resulting from specific types of undertakings. The NPA applies to all NASA real property assets not governed by an existing programmatic alternative.
