U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Sill is proposing to develop a Programmatic Agreement to codify in an agreement document certain steps of Fort Sill's current process, thereby reducing the requirement for repetitious requests to the State Historic Preservation Office in initiating the process in accordance with 36 CFR § 800.14(b)(2). The agreement will be developed with a mechanism to address and allow for undertakings that may deviate from the norm, either due to the complexity of the project, the nature of the properties involved in the undertaking or potential concerns raised by the consulting parties.
