In 2008, the "Programmatic Agreement Among the Armed Forces Retirement Home, National Park Service, the National Capital Planning Commission, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, and the District of Columbia State Historic Preservation Officer Regarding the Armed Forces Retirement Home -- Washington, D.C. Master Plan and On-Going Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Historic and Cultural Resources and Development Activities" was executed and amended in 2015. In accordance with Stipulation XIV.A., the Armed Forces Retirement Home is proposing a second amendment to the agreement to extend the length of the agreement.
