The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office, is reviewing an application for a rights-of-way grant (ROW) submitted by NV Energy. The Greenlink West Transmission Line Project (Project) is a proposed system of approximately 469 miles of new transmission lines and associated facilities situated in western Nevada. The Project would cross a combination of public lands owned and administered by the BLM, the Department of Defense, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and privately owned lands. Approximately 82 percent of the project will cross land managed by the BLM (see attached maps). The Project would cross BLM lands administered by the Carson City, Battle Mountain, and Southern Nevada District Offices.
