The Office of General Counsel is seeking a full-time legal intern who has completed their second year of law school with strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills. The candidate will assist with research on legal questions related to the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and Section 106 review. They will conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda on NHPA legislative history and caselaw, and update agency legal reference materials. The internship duties can be performed either in person in Washington, DC, hybrid, or virtually. The internship is full-time for 10 weeks with pay of $20 per hour.
