In 2022, the "Programmatic Agreement Among the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District; the Indiana State Historic Preservation Officer; the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation; the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma; the Shawnee Tribe; the Osage Nation; The Delaware Nation; the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, and Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians Regarding Routine Operations and Maintenance Undertakings that have the Potential to Affect Historic Properties at Flood Control Projects" was executed. In accordance with Stipulation XVI, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is proposing to amendment the agreement to address the addition of a reporting period, to include Fee Title lands for Locks and Dams and the Falls of the Ohio National Wildlife Conservation Area that fall on the Indiana side of the Ohio River to the area of potential effect, modify Appendix A to include installation and repairs and lake dredging projects, change the date for reporting on Findings of No Archaeological Sites or Built Structures Present, No Historic Properties Present, No Adverse Effect to Historic Properties, and any updates to the management and preservation of historic properties from September 30 to January 1 of each year, and address concerns of the Osage Nation.
