In 2017, the Memorandum of Agreement Among U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, H.E.L.P. Development Corps., Maryland State Historic Preservation Officer, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding the Perry Point Enhanced-Use Lease Perry Point, Cecil County, Maryland was executed. In accordance with Stipulation VI, the Department of Veterans Affairs is proposing an amendment to take into account changes to the second phase of redevelopment for the renovation of the remaining 20 existing residential buildings, construction of 22 new duplex houses and one single family house, construction of a community building, and the expansion of a solar field which will supply electricity for the homes.
