In 2021, the Memorandum of Agreement Among the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, The Florida State Historic Preservation Officer, and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding the Certification (FKNMS-2020-052) for the Project 'Nuestra Senora de Atocha and Santa Margarita Expeditions' in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary was executed. In accordance with Stipulation VI, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office of National Marine Sanctuaries is proposing to amend the agreement to clarify language regarding the certification renewal process.
