In 2018, the Programmatic Agreement Among U.S. Department of Energy-Western Power Administration, U.S. Department of Interior-Bureau of Reclamation, California State Historic Preservation Officer, and Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Regarding Construction of the San Luis Transmission Project, in Alameda, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Merced Counties, California was executed regarding the construction, ownership, operation, and maintenance of a new transmission line. The Western Area Power Administration is proposing an amendment, in accordance with Stipulation XI, regarding the development of a Historic Properties Treatment Plan as the project has been delayed.
