The Department of Veterans Affairs proposes seismic compliance and associated improvements at the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), known as the Walla Walla VAMC. These projects are to bring the facility into compliance with Executive Order 13717 (Federal Earthquake Risk Management Standard) and the VA's Seismic Requirements and Design Standards. The Walla Walla VAMC is considering various combinations of construction alternatives based on funding, timing, and campus operational needs to include retrofitting, rehabilitation, renovation, or demolition of buildings deemed "at-risk."
