The Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Region, proposes to develop a Programmatic Agreement for Section 106 compliance in accordance with 36 CFR § 800.14(b)(2) in order to take into account effects to historic properties within the National Forests within the State of Oregon. This new agreement will replace the 2004 Programmatic Agreement Among the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region (Region 6), the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, and the Oregon State Historical Preservation Officer Regarding Cultural Resources Management in the State of Oregon by the USDA Forest Service.
