Governor Jeff Landry’s leadership is rooted in a deep commitment to Louisiana and a career dedicated to public service. A veteran of Operation Desert Storm, former police officer, and successful small business owner, Landry went on to serve as a U.S. Congressman and Louisiana Attorney General before being elected Governor.

As Governor, Landry has prioritized pro-growth policies—moving Louisiana’s economic outlook from 31st to 18th in just over a year. In his first two years, he enacted historic tax cuts for Louisianians, bringing in over $80 billion in investments to our State and 124,000 job opportunities. 

Governor Landry has led major education reforms—expanding school choice, empowering parents, and helping Louisiana achieve its highest student testing scores in a generation. The state rose 11 spots on the Nation’s Report Card in just 13 months.
